Crippleware

The term 'Crippleware' has been used to describe software products whose functions have been limited (crippled) with the sole purpose of encouraging or requiring the user to pay for those functions.
Why it matters
Cripple is ableist language which is considered derogatory to people who live with physical impairments. Specifically in this context, it's used to purposefully cause detriment to others which makes the term unnecessarily hyperbolic.
Instead try saying:
Limited features
Reduced functionality
Pay Wall
Slowed service
