Cripple
Cripple(d) is sometimes used to describe a problem which has a significant impact within a process, service or situation.
Why it matters
Cripple is ableist language which is considered derogatory to people who live with physical impairments. It is sometimes used as an unnecessary hyperbole e.g. 'crippling debt' over 'significant debt'
